Horse ride cross country in a beautiful location to visit a remote nomadic family. Get to know the family and learn how to make Mongolian dumplings.
INCLUDES: Transfers from Ulaanbaatar and traditional lunch.
Meet in Ulaanbaatar and drive to the starting point for a quick introduction and safety talk. Don your helmet and mount up. Your guide will lead you on a scenic route following the river and through forest and over a mountain pass.
After 2 hours trekking, arrive at the home of the nomadic family. Say goodbye to your horse and be welcomed by your hosts. Learn to cook a traditional Mongolian meal such as steamed dumpling. Cook and eat together with the family. Learn about their culture and see a demonstration of their daily chores. Help out with herder or milking if you like.
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
Length: 2 hour horse trek, 2-3 hours nomadic life experience, 3 hour transfers. 7 hours minimum.
